MEET THE TEAM

Every person on the RAR Therapy Team is committed to supporting you in a way that best meets your needs.

RAR Therapy are a family owned and operated company that began in 2013 in rural North Queensland.  It has always been our commitment to ensure that all people living in rural and regional areas are offered the same high quality services that metropolitan areas have access to.

Our goal is to provide easy to access, quality therapy services by continually exploring innovative ways to do this.
Our RAR Team offers flexible, mobile; on-site (schools, day care, in-home, day centre) and telehealth services.

FOUNDING SENIOR THERAPISTS

KATHY LUKE

FOUNDER/DIRECTOR

Kathy Luke graduated from The University of Queensland (Brisbane, St Lucia) in 1997, and since then has worked in a range of government and non-government professional roles, in Brisbane/Townsville and overseas.

She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team, including therapy with both children/families and adults, and 10 years with Disability Services as a therapist and manager of allied health teams (children and adults).

KATRINA PACEY

DIRECTOR/PRINCIPAL THERAPIST

Katrina Pacey grew up in a small rural town in Central Queensland and after graduating from the University of Queensland in 1998 had a dream to return to ‘the country’.  She has a passion for rural practice and as a mum of four children herself loves to bring renewed hope to families and a measure of peace to mums who are struggling to see the light at the end of the tunnel.  Katrina has worked as an Occupational Therapist with children, in mental health, in the disability field, and as a community based private Occupational Therapist.  In her work with adults with autism and profound disabilities she has supported staff and psychologists in the development of positive behaviour support strategies, and repeatedly reminds our therapists that ‘every person is first a person, who needs to be seen as a person and be heard as a person.
